Not sure that this is the correct one. In 1901 there was only one Russell family living in Cudham. This was William and Naomi Russell with their three sons, all born in Sussex. Not able to find a birth certificate for the 5 year old. Found a Charles Arthur of this age born in Tunbridge area, which adjoins previous home area. The CWGC site gives 4 x 'C A Russell', 2 of these are the right age but have different parents and this one doesn't give age or parents. If this is all correct he would have been 23 years old. So this answer in arrived at by several guesses. If you know anything about this family please let me know. **Need to search again as this Charles was from an Australian family!**
